My iPod Classic (120GB) have weird sound (volumr up plz!!!)

im ipod collector and this problem make me sick!!! because i was keep store my ipod after bettery change program i mean 1:1 exchange so after 10month yesterday i open my classic and synchronized itunes.. and 3min ago my ipod noised like a popcorn!! i think something wrong inside the hard disk... but it's nicely good working ........WTH i never this happen befor!! when i was middle school student 2006 i got 1st ipod white ipod 80gb but diffrent noise!!! im worried about next disk ipod... plz jobs dont this happen again!! oh my!!
